    LRS S724XF
This rod is awesome, usually use a baitcaster rod for jerk bait fishing, a Levante F4,5-611LV jerk bait special. I have to say my new LRS rod works as well if not better than the Levante. Great look, well built and light, used it for 4 or 5 hrs and was not exhausted. Got to say the 5-year warranty really makes it nice as well.

    LRS 724XF
I have the LRS in the 7’2″ and that thing is a work horse. I’ve never owned a spinning rod quite like this one. I can cast this stick out super far and set the hook hard on big fish with no problem while still enjoying the feel of every piece of grass I run into. I throw everything from wacky rigs to even jerkbaits on this rod and I would definitely put this on top of the list as far as any spinning rods I’ve ever owned.

Double thumbs up on the LRS Spinning Rods
The Douglas LRS spinning rods are very impressive for the money. The rods have incredible feel and super dialed in actions. The guide spacing and size guides are right on the money. I have found the rods to cast well and more importantly to detect light bites. I have applied quite a bit a pressure on my LRS spinning rods and I have yet to have one fail me. I currently own 4 Douglas LRS spinning rods and will definitely be adding more LRS rods to my arsenal.

Holds its own against some big-name brands
Picked up a Douglas LRS spinning rod at a bait shop as an impulse buy. I was waiting for my bait when saw it, picked it up and decided this was a rod that I had to try out. It really is a wonderful rod. Very sensitive and great for drop shot fishing and Wacky rigging. I have cast and jigged for walleyes with it too, and it has done fine. I have owned G. Loomis rods and St. Croix rods and this rod holds its own with these brands, in my experience.
